On our recent mini road trip to Oxford with Jordan Kidd I managed to catch a couple of sly shots of Zak Mckean, he’s been egging me on to see them, so here you go… enjoy!

Migrating North-West
Not much happening on the blog front as of late. That’s simply because we’re too freakin’ busy, which is great! We’ve put a couple of sites live recently, signed off on a number of new logos (to be revealed soon), shot a bunch of photos, and kept our awesome clients’ branding and collateral up to date.
In the background of all of this we’ve recently shifted the office space from Andy’s house in St Albans out into the suburbs — Bishopdale namely. A few benefits have already come to light, more space, less noise (if you’ve been to Bishopdale you’ll know what I mean), and Reality Bites Cafe boasting a great coffee to keep the design decisions sharp.
Another interesting piece of news you might like to know is we’ve expanded our team from 2 to 3. Big steps… Phil Lord is getting behind a couple of projects and giving a hand with the current workload, he’s a great designer with a real flair for branding/identity. Check out his personal portfolio here.
Right, back to it…
Mid Winter Skate Posters
Enquire Design’s ongoing projects with Cheapskates Skate Skool never seem to end. For what supposed to be a quiet period over winter organising events for summer, the events have just kept rolling out — and the colder temps have far from kept the young skaters away, in fact I think the participation is getting higher.
Here’s a couple of posters designed for the Sumner Skate Jam on the 16th July, and the Big Chill on the 29th July. If you’re in Christchurch, head along to these events — good times! If you can’t, keep posted on SkateSkool.co.nz

Skate Skool’s Grom Of The Month Feature

Saul Titheridge » Ollie down to the bank
Recently over at Cheapskates Skate Skool we’ve been working together to set up a regular feature on their blog called Grom Of The Month. This where we seek out a talented young skater in the Christchurch area, give them a series of quickfire questions, take them out for a shoot, then point the spotlight on them on the Skate Skool website. Here’s a couple of picks from the recent Grom Of The Month shoots.

Backflips shoot — Jordan Kidd
Jordan Kidd, one of our local ripping skaters recently joined the Backflips Clothing team, and in turn needed some fresh shots. We loaded up the car and headed out to Oxford skatepark for the afternoon last weekend, here’s a few of my favs from the shoot. Jordan, you rule!
Check out Backflips Clothing here.
Douglas Street Handrail Part 2
A little while back I went down to Timaru for a skate comp and revealed these shots from a session afterwards. Anyway incase you missed it on the Manual website, the final shot above of Sean Burgess throwing a casual backside Smith down Douglas Street’s handrail.
