The Return Of Strung Out!

One of my favourite bands Strung Out returned recently and blew the small but loyal Christchurch crowd away. The itch to pick up the gui­tar and find some time to jam again was def­i­nitely re-ignited. I was lucky enough to cap­ture these shots from vary­ing loca­tions of the mosh­pit; quite a mis­sion get­ting thrown around with an SLR cam­era in one hand and a flash in the other, pos­si­bly stu­pid… but great fun.

Jono from the sup­port act None Left Stand­ing thought he’s instantly estab­lish him­self as a pro­fes­sional mas­sage ther­a­pist, and treat Jake and Chris to his hands of gold in order to entice them to come back; we’ll see in a cou­ple years if it paid off…
