Andy recently designed my website showcasing some of my art, design and photography work. The thing I enjoyed most while working with him was that nothing was a problem. Even if it was the tiniest thing I wanted to change, he would do it straight away, and if it wasn’t quite right he would make a suggestion of how we could make it better. He was also constantly in contact, always keeping me updated and gave me 110% throughout the whole project. You've just found the perfect crossover that covers web design, a graphic design, and  photography.

As much as I've tried to "specialise", so far I've found it's not really something that will work for me. I find each element a great asset to compliment another and in turn produces better results, from a unified viewpoint.

I am finding the web a very exciting place to be involved in and at this stage, a lot of my projects are getting more web-based. So a more defined decription of what I do would be design-driven, functional website and print design, that feature powerful typography and photography.

Web Design

My skillset with web design is ever-growing, beginning with pure interest, then starting to dabble, to becoming completely hooked during my design studies. Having a background in graphic design definitely helps with getting things to look good on the screen, but also for more underlying principles like accessibility, heirarchy of content and typography in general.

For the technically savvy, I mainly use CSS/HTML following the latest web standards, a little Javascript where needed and Flash for those of you who like things that move.

Graphic Design

So you've got a nice website? Tell people about it via the means of graphic communication. Effective printed material with consistent branding says something positive about your organisation/business, especially when you have a sweet site to send people to.

I offer design for most printed media, from idea generation, to illustration, through to the final print. These can include logo design, branding, business cards, brochures, posters, rack cards, direct advertising (print and web), multi-page publications and merchandise.

Photography

Combine any of the above with power of photography. I've had experience in a variety of avenues with photography and post-production. My main areas include skateboarding and promotional images for the likes of bands/artists and editorial/magazines. Needless to say I always work with a complementary approach to design.
