About Enquire Design
Well it is said that a graphic designer is a “Socially accepted nerd”... I'm happy with that.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and have always had admiration for anything visually pleasing. This led onto a focused education in the area of art & design. In 2008 I completed the Bachelor of design degree at Christchurch Polytechnic, majoring in photography and web design.
Design is a way of life now—I'm unable to look at an advertisement without critically analysing it. I notice that when I'm reading my children their story books at bedtime that the font is in Futura Medium, and I can acheive 100% on I Love Typography's Font Game (give it a nudge, it's fun as).
I actively push my design work to create a fine balance of functionality and beauty. It has to work—and it has to look good. One won't do it for me, I find a way to acheive both in any project. When not hiding behind a glowing apple or peeking through my camera, you'll find me spending time with my family, and struggling to find time to play my guitar.
How Enquire Works
As I currently work full-time as an in-house designer for EOS Ecology, my weekly freelance hours average around 15, meaning I am only open to take on projects that don't have restrictive timeframes. Sometimes, even when you have a couple of months up your sleeve, there is still the possibility that my workload is too full to take on more. Of course this is when I get offered the coolest and most interesting projects! In this instance I can recommend a few design agencies around Christchurch that may be able to help.
Although Enquire Design is not a full service design agency (yet), there are definitely some perks for working with a smaller freelance company like me.
- One contact person. There is simply no misinterpretion of communication. No sales reps who have no idea about design, it's just you and me, keeping things as simple as possible.
- Working from a home-based studio allows for a competitive design rate.
- I have established good relationships with outsources like printers and webhosts, not just ordinary companies, but like-minded people who stand fully behind the quality of their work/service. This allows me to get on with what I'm good at, and forward on the other stuff to what they are good at.
- The customer service is astounding! Take a look through this site and check out some of the testimonials.
